# Autumn water

The Autumn water material provides woodland colors, gentle ripples and floating leaves near the banks.

| Control | Appearance |
| --- | --- |
| Deep Forest Water / Clear Amber Shallows | Main water colors. |
| Golden / Copper / Russet Leaves | Leaf palette. |
| Shore Leaf Density | Amount of leaves near banks. |
| Open Water Leaf Density | Amount away from banks. |
| Leaf Shore Depth Band | Extent of the shallow leaf area. |
| Leaf Drift / Turn Speed | Leaf movement. |
| Leaf Opacity Fade | Soft appearance and disappearance. |

Set both leaf densities to zero to disable leaves. For a calm scene, keep movement and foam subtle. Duplicate the material before customization and follow [water camera setup](WaterRendering.md).
